DEWALT ladders and steps are made from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) or fibreglass material. The ladder stiles are electrically insulated, so that any stray cables or wires touching the ladder stiles will stop electricity passing through to the rest of the ladder, and into the person using the ladder. All DEWALT ladders are non-conductive to 30,000 volts.
