Control module dewalt nailguns

I have a dcn660 finish gun and the module is bad. I was curious why I couldn’t use the same module by appearance from the dcn680 or dcn650? Dewalt sells the three modules that look exactly the same but have prices from $50 to $120. Of course the one I need for my model is $120. Why won’t the others work if they have all the same parts and dimensions

We can advise that if the part numbers are not the same and or not in the bill of materials for the model in question they will not be compatible.
