Compact cordless router plunge base dust collector
AnsweredInstalled the DNP616 dust collector on the DNP612 plunge base for the cordless compact router. It snapped into place when I tightened the mounting screw. Dust collection is very good. Now I want to remove the DNP616 - removed its mounting screw but the unit will not come out of its seated position in the plunge base. I must be missing something here,. Nothing in the instructions about removing the dust collector. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Peter Bell
Thank you for contacting us! We've opened a ticket with our customer service team and will work to resolve your issue. Have a nice day! -
Dewalt answered - there is a small tab on the bottom of the DNP616 that catches on the plunge base when you install it. The tab locks the DNP616 in place. Depressing that tab releases the dust collector from the base. Super easy!
