Hello @Christina Miller and thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear you are having troubles with your mower. There could be a few things causing your mower to turn off or not starting. There is a possible concern for the mowers that have the fold up handle with the mowers not starting.
If the mower will not start and the batteries have been checked and are working, please follow this step-in troubleshooting, first.
There is a safety switch located on the right-hand side of the mower below the handle and above the wheel. The safety switch is engaged or pushed in when the mower is folded so it won’t accidently turn on if the batteries are left in it when stored. This switch should be pulled out for the mower to run. (this step is not in the manual) This switch can be jostled while the mower is running, as well. If the mower stops abruptly, check the switch to ensure it is pulled out.

This video will show how to trouble shoot starting the mower with the safety switch pushed in.

Next, be sure your batteries are fully charged and check in another tool, if possible. Insert the batteries into the mower and ensure they are fully seated by hearing the click. Using your manual, go through the start-up steps one by one to ensure you haven't missed anything.
We will reach out to you in an email to follow up.
