5ah 20volt battery

I purchased a dewalt 5ah 20volt battery and charger recently. I use it in a 20v dewalt hand held vacuum i got for my birthday last month. I have charged it several times to full and it runs the tool for less and less time each time I charge it. Once the battery is depleted i put on the charger overnigh .What is the issue?

We're sorry to hear the battery is not performing to our standards. We do have professional technicians that can test batteries and chargers. Some examples of why the battery wouldn't be performing as it should, is the age of the battery, cold, hot or charger malfunctioning. Without it being tested we cannot provide an exact issue.
