Orbital Sander Problem

Is anyone else having an issue with their dewalt battery powered orbital sander? I’ve only had my for a year. I rarely use it - maybe a total of ten times. Every time I turn it on it powers up for about 10 - 15 seconds and then shuts off. It’s not the batteries - they work in all my other tools fine.
I’d expect a lot better from dewalt. If anyone has a fix, please let me know.
