If you wish to remove tools from your account you can remove any non-Tool Connect™ tool from the web interface as long as you are an account Administrator. Site Admins and Managers cannot remove tools from an account. If you wish to remove a tool that is linked to a tag or connector you must un-link the tool first (Pairing and Linking DEWALT Tool Connect Tools, Batteries, Tags, and Connectors (Tool Connect Site Manager). Once you have unlinked the tools you can delete the now unconnected tool from your account. If you wish to delete a Tool Connect™ Tool, Tag, or Connector from your account you must do this from the Site Manager mobile app.
1. To delete an unconnected tool from your account, make sure you are in the Inventory section on the web.
2. You can choose to remove tools one at a time or in a batch action. To delete tools one at a time, click on the tool.
3. In the UPDATE TOOL window click the delete button, the tool will be deleted.
4. A warning will pop up to confirm if you want to delete the tool. Click "YES"
5. To delete multiple tools at the same time, click the check box next to each tool that you wish to delete. click on trash can icon.
6. A warning will pop up to confirm if you want to delete the tool. Click "YES"
