The Insight section in Site Manager is a powerful feature that provides valuable information on the utilization and safety usage of your POWERSHIFT tools. By effectively using this feature, you can analyze asset usage and identify opportunities to optimize your resources across various projects.
This article will guide you through the steps to create a dashboard that helps you monitor and manage your POWERSHIFT tools effectively.
Access the Insight Section
1. Locate the Insight section in the main menu.
Set Filters for your Dashboard
2. You can create a customized dashboard that provides insights about your POWERSHIFT tools by filtering the following fields.
- Select the Asset Class: Choose the appropriate assets class for you POWERSHIFT tool.
- Select the Model Number: Specify the model number of the tool you want to analyze.
- Select the Assignment: Choose the assignment related to the tool usage.
- Select Date: Set the date range for the data you want to analyze.
- Click Apply: After setting your filter, click the "Apply" button to generate the dashboard.
Analyze Asset Information
3. Once you have applied the filters, the Utilization tab will provide you with detailed information about the selected asset.
- Asset selection: Provides information about the assets in the selected class, including the name of the POWERSHIFT tool, model number, the assignment where it is located, and the date range. Also, tells you the "asset count" how many of the specific POWERSHIFT tool you have.
- Run Time Summary: Average runtime for the selected asset based on hours and days.
- Last Sync Summary: Information based on hours, days, and weeks since the last sync.
Asset Status Overview
4. You will also have insights on the status of your assets, including:
- Deployed: Tools currently in use.
- Available: Tools that are not currently in use.
- Missing: Tools that cannot be located.
- Service Needed: Tools requiring maintenance.
Asset Details Table
5. At the bottom of the dashboard, you will find a detailed table that includes:
model number, description, serial number, tool status, last sync date, safety sutdowns, and runtime in hours
Compare Asset Usage
6. In the top right corner of the dashboard, you will find the Compare button. This feature allows you to:
- Select an Assignment: From the dropdown menu. Choose an assignment to compare.
- View Runtime Summary Graph: Analyze the runtime summary graph to see which tools are being used, how frequently they are used, and identify opportunities to move tools between assignments for better utilization.
7. To change the graph from a pie chart to a line graph for the runtime summary simply click on the "Graph Type" located at the top right corner of the chart, and select "Line Graph" to display the data in hours and days.
8. Click "View Full Analytics" button to return to the main utilization page for the selected asset.
9. The main utilization view will display the asset count, runtime summary, last sync summary, asset status, and asset details table.
Review Safety Shutdowns
10. The Safety tab provides critical information regarding the proper usage of your tools:
11. Safety Shutdown Summary helps determine if the tool is being used correctly. This can also help you identify if your team requires additional training on that tool, if there are excessive shutdowns, or if the tool needs servicing according to the instruction manual.
12. POWERSHIFT tools are designed with advanced features to enhance user control and safety. For example:
- E-Clutch System: Senses extreme vibrations and binding, reducing motor torque to a manageable level.
- Kickback Brake: Engages during pinch, stall, or bind-up situations.
- Active Vibration Control: Reduces vibration at the tool handles for user comfort.
- Data Gathering: Tools automatically upload data for analysis, helping to detect frequent issues and determine solutions.
By utilizing the Insight section in Site Manager, you can effectively monitor the usage and safety of your POWERSHIFT tools. This not only helps in optimizing asset allocation but also ensures that your team is using the tools correctly and safely.
13. To return to the utilization view of the asset, click on the "View Full Analytics" button located at the next to the assignment.
