2.4: Searching and Filtering Inventory(Tool Connect™ Site Manager)

Searching

From the 'Inventory’ screen, click or tap on the search field. 

Enter a tool description, inventory number, category name, etc. and hit enter. Any relevant results will be displayed. 

To clear your search and return to your full Inventory list, click the ‘X’ next to the search term to view all items in your inventory. 

Filtering

If you are not already in the Inventory view, click on the Inventory option on the top left-hand side of the screen. Filter gives you the ability to filter by a tool's category or assignment. You can also filter by auditor if you wish to see who audited what tool.

Click on the field you wish to filter by and select the category or assignment you wish to view. 

You can apply multiple filters to further narrow down your results. To clear your filter, click ‘Clear Filters’, you will be returned to your default inventory list.

In the Mobile App

Searching

Site Manager gives you two ways to search: text or barcode.
If you are not already in the Inventory view, click on the 'Inventory' tab on the bottom of the screen. Tap ‘Search’ at the top of the screen or tap on the barcode icon next to the search field to start your search.

Enter the term you wish to search for then tap 'Search', or scan a barcode with your devices camera and your results will be presented in a list

To clear the search tap on the ‘X’ next to the search term to view all items in your inventory.

Filtering

If you are not already in the Inventory view, click on the Inventory tab on the bottom of the screen. 

Tap filter on the bottom of the screen, and you will be presented with a number of options to filter and sort by.  Tap the options you wish to use and tap ‘Apply Filters’,  

you will be returned to the inventory list with the newly applied filters and sort selections. 

To clear your filter, tap filter, then tap reset in the top right corner, you will be returned to your default inventory list.
