My Gateway is not picking any assets
If your Gateway is not detecting any Tool Connect™ Bluetooth assets check the following:

Check to make sure your Gateway is assigned to an assignment, if the gateway is not assigned, it will not detect assets

Make sure your Gateway is located within 100-150ft of the Bluetooth assets you are looking to detect

Ensure that there are no major obstructions between the assets and the Gateway, like large concrete or metal walls.
My Gateway is not checking in
If your Gateway is not checking in check the following:

Ensure that your gateway’s battery is charged, you can check this in Site Manager Inventory view, when you click on the Gateway. If the battery is low or near empty, then it would need to be charged for 5-6 hours.

Check that your Gateway’s cellular service is acceptable, you can check the cellular signal of your cell phone when you are near the Gateway, if it is 1 bar or below you will need to move the Gateway to a place that has a better cellular signal.

Check the device profile, it may not check in until the scheduled time that is set on the Gateway. By default this is hourly, but if you requested it as twice daily it will not update until the specified times.

If you have checked these things above and it is still not checking in, then please contact toolconnectsupport@sbdinc.com.
My Gateway’s location is not accurate
If your Gateway’s location is not accurate, check the following:

It may not be able to get a GPS fix, when the Gateway cannot get a GPS fix it will try to estimate the location based on nearby cellular and WiFi networks. In order to get a more exact location, move the Gateway to a place where it has a clear view of the sky.
My Gateway is only picking up some of my Tool Connect™ Bluetooth assets
If your Gateway is only picking up some of your Bluetooth assets, check the following:

Make sure the assets that you are not picking up are within 100-150ft of the Gateway.

Ensure that there are no major obstructions between the missing assets and the Gateway, like large concrete or metal walls.
How can I tell that my Gateway is working?
You can check the following items to make sure your Gateway is working:

Check the device profile setting, wait until the time of the next check in and you should see the Last Audit time of the Gateway in the Last seen details on the Site Manager website or mobile app.

The Gateway will also light up at the time when it checks in.
