Your Construction Asset Gateway can be configured with several different scanning profiles to meet the needs of your use case. You can adjust these profiles from the Site Manager application. Additional profiles will be available in the future via software updates. Bear in mind that some profiles are more demanding on the battery. If using a profile that scans for more than two times a day consider providing permanent power to the Gateway when possible.

Profile 1 - Hourly

Consider providing power to your Gateway for this profile.

• Scans every 60 minutes

• Motion or charging state does not affect the 60 minute time frame

• Motion of the Gateway will trigger a new GPS fix on the next scan

• Battery life about 18-20 days

Profile 2 - Bi-Daily

Power draw is negligible in this mode, twice daily check in will yield several months of battery life depending on temperature and cellular conditions.

• Scans at specified times twice a day

• Motion or charging state does not change the check in time

• Motion of the Gateway will trigger a new GPS fix on the next scan

• Battery life about 5 months
