20 volt battery pack issues
AnsweredI have a 20 v battery pack that failed to power my tools about a year ago. It's a few years old, before the battery packs had charge indicator lights. When insert it in the charger, it shows normal charge for about 20 minutes, then indicates fully charged. When attached to a tool, such as my drill, the drill lights flash briefly, but the drill will not operate at all. I assumed bad cell, but when I tested the voltage, I was surprised to see 19.8 volts. What's up? Can it be fixed?

Phillip, did you get an answer?

No answer. A soon as Juan Mestre found out that the battery wasn't in warranty, he blew me off. I never asked for a warranty replacement. I merely wanted to know if I could salvage the battery pack. I'd still welcome a real answer.
