220v/110v
AnsweredI'm trying to get the jobsite table saw and a d/b mitre saw, and want to import it to Sri Lanka from the US. We run at 220v and US is obv at 110v, and I might actually end up running a 110v subsystem to power imported devices eventually. But until then, does anyone know if the 110v DeWalt products are actually 110-230v like most electrical appliances these days, or are actually locked to 110v like from ten years ago?

Hi Dinidu de Alwis
To have a better experience we recommend you to use the saws we have in Sri Lanka because the products we offer in US are designed to work with the 110V energy system as always, or you can use an adapter compatible in Sri Lanka.
If you want more information about how to use an adapter compatible in Korea, you can visit this link: https://whatplug.info/from/usa/to/srilanka.
Have a great day! -
Thanks Maycol. Local DeWalt authorised dealer is just horrid. Acted as if I'm forcing them to sell me tools, and didn't even reverted with prices. I went with Makita instead.
