Hello Drew Martin and thank you for reaching out.  There is a safety switch located on the right-hand side of the mower below the handle and above the wheel.  The safety switch is engaged or pushed in when the mower is folded so it won’t accidently turn on if the batteries are left in it when stored. This switch should be pulled out for the mower to run.  (this step is not in the manual) This switch can be jostled while the mower is running, as well.  If the mower stops abruptly, check the switch to ensure it is pulled out.

I have a newer 20x2 DeWalt battery Lawn mower.  I bought new last year.  Worked great.  I have used it 3 times this year.  Last week I tried to use it again and walked  5 feet.  It just  stoped .  The batteries were low. I charged up both batteries.  I haven't been able to get it to start since.  I tried 10 AH,  4AH, and 2 AH batteries with no response.  I checked the safety switch and the key switch.  They are clean and still look new.

I also have this issue. Mower wont start. Safety switch and key look fine.

I’ve checked the safety switch and still have this problem. I even checked batteries in other Dwalt equipment and they work fine.
What else can I check? We purchased this last spring so we are not seeing this as a good investment.
