I have recently purchased the Dewalt cordless heatgun and have had the same problem with 2 of them. I have used the 18V 1.5 AH battery that I use on my Dewalt drills and they don't seem to work with the heatgun. It runs for 10 seconds on low and about 2 seconds on high setting before turning off. I have returned and swapped for another one with the same problem again. Has anyone else had this issue?
