New DXCM602 - leaking air at pressure switch connection at tank

I recently purchased the DXCM602 compressor. After installation and break in run time, it leaks air where the pressure switch attaches to the air tank. It appears that no sealant/ Teflon tape was applied to this connection. My question is - if I remove the pressure switch and apply Teflon tape to this connection, will it void my warranty?? Leaks from 150 psi down to 50 overnight.
