Batteries and appropriate chargers

Hi there.

 

I have a range of dewalt 18V tools and batteries, the batteries ranging from 2ah to 5ah in size. I want to know if thie DCB115 will fully charge the 5ah batteries safely?

 

The reason I ask this question is that the DCB shows a power output rating of 4A on the back. Does this mean it will only charge up to 4ah or am I getting confused here?

 

Will this DCB115 fully charge my 5aH batteries?

  We apologize for the delay and the lack of information, the 4A output means it will charge 4 amps per hour, it will fully charge your 5 AH battery but it will take longer than an hour.
