Dewalt DCC018N Cordless inflator Err5 sensor issue

It states in the manual that if Err5 fault Code is displayed it is due to an issue with the pressure sensor. Unfortunately, the description of the error code is to contact a service centre. They won’t want to know (I’ve tried as my unit is 6 months outside of warranty) and refer you back to Dewalt. However, Dewalt have no solution to this problem as the part is no longer available. No way around this I’ve been told, so stuck with a unit that can only inflate via high volume hose.
