Leaf Blower - DCBL722P1 - Sudden Death

I have owned this leaf blower for less than four years and in that time it has seen very light usage - perhaps being run no more than a few dozen times over the 3-4 seasons.
Today, the machine was working great until it just stopped dead in its tracks. Now it doesn't turn on at all, regardless of the battery I am using (all are charged, 2 are 5V and 2 of them are 20v. Nothing lights up the device.)
I am reading online that this is a very common failure mode for this device and there appears to be no good fix for it, which is infuriating given that I paid 200 bucks for this boat anchor.
I am a long-time DeWalt user, but I am now going to replace this thing with a competitor's device of some kind and will be recommending that others do the same. I bought the device on Amazon and have now left an Amazon one-star review to this effect.
Can anyone at DeWalt make this right?
