Batteries going bad

Lately I've been having batteries go bad left and right. I'm thinking of switching to Milwaukee. I already have a few of their products and I've had their batteries going on 6 years now, no failures. So I'm thinking of ditching DeWalt all together which really sucks because I have been a faithful DeWalt fan or going on 20 years. With the prices of the batteries so incredibly high and then not laughing it's just not worth it anymore.
