Pole saw unfixable
I bought a pole saw over a year ago for the odd tree in the garden, when I used it oil would run out and you’d be covered in it
Contacted dewalt they arranged to have it picked up and repaired
Over a month later I contacted them asking when it will be fixed and returned Eventually, it was eventually apparently they had to fit new parts But it looked like it hadn’t even been taken out of the box I sent it in and when used oil would still run out, so it had to be sent back for a second time eventually it was returned and this time it stopped leaking oil, but it wouldn’t use any or at all to lubricate the chain bar and would get hot and seize up
So it had to go back for the 3rd time
It came back leaking oil this time And it keeps stopping, the oil worked that way into all the electrical components so back for a 4th time But I eventually had an email saying that the warranty has run out they won’t be fixing it, and I even have to pay £25 for it to be disposed!! See my frustration?!?! So has anyone else had this kind of experience? And what does anyone suggest, just accept that you buy dewalt and your buying rubbish?
