Can anyone recommend a brush cutter blade for the Dewalt DCST970xt? 

Dewalt will not/can not recommend one.

  Hi Richard Piekos , as per our records, our customer service team was able to assist you and answer your question. 

  This model is not a universal trimmer, and its purpose is to be used as a string trimmer only.
   Using a brush cutter blade on a string trimmer that is not designed for it can be dangerous and for that reason we do not recommend it.
