When transporting batteries, specifically large ones, we offer the following suggestions
Always use the transport cap when moving batteries.
High-capacity batteries (More than 5.0 AH) require the cap n475920
Regular-capacity batteries (Less than 5.0 AH) require the cap 90535852-02
The cap separates the battery cells, allowing it to be shipped more easily under special rules (ADR Regulation 188) within the European Economic Community. Without the cap, the battery is classified as a dangerous good and must follow stricter regulations for lithium-ion batteries with more than 100 watt-hours.

Will the less than 100 Wh with transport cap designation apply to commercial air and ocean shipments?
