As the DCN690 Cordless Nailer uses only power from a battery pack to operate, it is a much more environmentally friendly tool than the equivalent gas product. A gas tool still requires a battery to be charged and disposed of at the end of it's useful life, but also require gas canisters to be safely disposed of on a regular basis.
