The DEWALT PAPR helmet has an in-use life of up to 5 years from the date of issue to the user (ie. removal from storage). It is recommended that it is replaced after 5 years or if the helmet is involved in an accident. Please also note that excessive wear and tear, together with use in extreme environments, can considerably reduce the life span of the hard hat.
