Connected Tools
Removing Tool Connect™ enabled products such as Tools, Batteries, Tags, and Connectors from your account can only be done through the Site Manager app. You must have Administrator permissions and must be within Bluetooth range (roughly 30-100 feet depending on conditions). Site Admins and Managers cannot remove tools from an account.
To remove a Tool Connect™ enabled tool, choose the 'Inventory' tab on the bottom of the application.
Tap on the three dots on the right-hand side of the tool you wish to remove, then tap ‘Unpair’ to confirm you want to remove the tool.
Once unpaired, it can then be paired to something else.
Unconnected tools
You must have Administrator permissions to remove unconnected tools. Site Admins and Managers cannot remove tools from an account.
To remove an unconnected tool tap on the three dots on the right-hand side of the tool you wish to remove. Then tap 'Delete '.
Site Manager will ask you to confirm that you wish to delete the tool. To confirm click 'Delete Tool' or 'Cancel' to back out. The tool will be removed from your account.
