Sub-Assignments can be quickly added from the Site Manager app if you are signed in as an Administrator or Owner, Managers cannot add assignments. For more information about permissions see 4.1 Owner & Administrator Roles (Tool Connect™ Site Manager).

Creating a Sub-Assignment
Tap on the Flag icon on the lower left to open the Assignment. Then, click on the gear icon of the assignment.
In the Edit Assignment window, scroll down and click on the checkbox "Make this a Sub-Assignment of" and select the sub-assignment. Click "Save" and the sub-assignment will be assigned to the assignment.
Adding a Sub-Assignment
Tap on the Flag icon on the lower left to open the Assignment. And under the Assignment, tap the Sub-Assignment.
The Sub-Assignment page will display all the listed sub-assignment under the selected assignment.
Tap on the '+' icon to bring the New Assignment window.
Fill in as much information as possible about the sub-assignment. When done, tap "Save" to add the sub-assignment.
Editing a Sub-Assignment
To edit a Sub-Assignment, tap on the gear icon in the sub-assignment you want to edit. In the New Sub-Assignment portal tap on the gear icon.
The Edit Assignment window will display, allowing you to edit the sub-assignment information. When done, tap "Save" to update the sub-assignment information.
Deactivating a Sub-Assignment
To deactivate a Sub-Assignment, tap on the sub-assignment you want to deactivate.
Then, under the Sub-Assignment portal, tap on the gear icon to open the Edit Assignment window. Scroll down and click on the "Deactivate" button.
