Site Manage relies on your mobile devices location services and Bluetooth® in order to detect Tool Connect products, and to report their location. In order to fully use the Site Manager application on your iOS device you will need to enable three settings in the iOS Privacy options (Location, Bluetooth®, & Camera).
Location Services
When you first launch Site Manager you will be prompted for permission to use your location when using the application. It is critical that you allow this on your device otherwise Site Manager will not be able to tag the location of your assets when you pair and audit them. If you decline to enable Location services follow these steps to enable them. To enable Location Services on your iOS device you will need to exit the Site Manager app and open the Settings application. Scroll down until you locate the 'Privacy' option and tap on it.
Next tap on the 'Location Services' option on the top.
Make sure Location Services are turned on, then scroll down until you see Site Manager in the list. Tap on Site Manager to see the location services for it.
You will want to make sure 'Allow Location Access' is set to 'While Using the App' and the 'Precise Location' option is turned on. This will allow you to get proper tracking information from your phone to Site Manager
Bluetooth®
When you first launch Site Manager you will be prompted for permission to use your devices Bluetooth®. It is critical that you allow this on your device otherwise Site Manager will not be able to pair Tool Connect™ tools, tags, and adapters via Bluetooth®. If you declined to enable Bluetooth follow these steps to enable it.

Camera
Site Manager uses your devices camera to both onboard DEWALT tools with a QR code, and to add/scan third party barcodes. When you select audit with barcode or add tool via barcode your device will prompt you for permission to use the camera. If you do not allow this permission you cannot add tools via QR code or audit barcodes. To enable the camera start by exiting the Site Manager app and opening the Settings app on your device. Then scroll down and tap 'Privacy'.
Next scroll down and tap the 'Camera' option under the privacy screen.
Scroll down and make sure the toggle for Site Manager is turned on, if it is off, tap the toggle to allow Site Manager access to your devices camera.
