Point of Contact can be designated for each Assignment and Sub Assignment you create. A Point of Contact is the person who it ultimately responsible for the tools and assets at each one of your Assignments. This can help with reporting when you might have several different people with access to a given Assignment or Sub Assignment, but one person is ultimately held responsible for those items.
The Point of Contact can be different for each Assignment and Sub Assignment you create, and you also do not have to specify a Point of Contact if you do not want to. Anyone can be a Point of Contact in Site Manager, they just need to be invited to your account. Point of Contact is not affected by permission level, and a Point of Contact does not necessarily need to have access to the Assignment they are a Point of Contact on. We do suggest for transparency that you give your Point of Contact access to any Assignment or Sub Assignment you designate them on.

To assign a point of contact you must be an Owner or Administrator on the account. Start by tapping on the Assignment view to view your list of Assignments. Then tap on the gear icon on the Assignment you wish to add a Point of Contact to.
The 'Edit Assignment' window will now open, scroll to the bottom until you see the 'Point of Contact' field. To choose a 'Point of Contact' tap 'Select' and a new window will open.
You will be presented with a list of all users on the account, tap on the person you wish to designate as the point of contact.
You will be returned to the 'Edit Assignment' page where you can make any other changes. Once you are done tap 'Save' and you will be returned to the Assignment list view with your new point of contact.
