DEWALT® is proud to offer the Construction Asset Gateway. The Gateway is designed to automate the detection of Tool Connect™ Bluetooth assets and report them back to the Site Manager system. The Gateway gives users the ability to check in Bluetooth assets without having to use the Site Manager mobile app, however, they are designed to work together.

The Gateway is a GPS-enabled cellular device that has its own dedicated rechargeable battery and Bluetooth scanner to detect Tool Connect™ assets. The Gateway has configurable profiles available to you depending on your needs, which will determine how often the Gateway scans for Bluetooth assets. By default, your Gateway will scan hourly, if you wish to change it to twice daily, please contact toolconnectsupport@sbdinc.com. Additional profiles and configurations will be available in future software updates. The Gateway will wake up at a specified time or based on motion, initiate a Bluetooth scan for a certain duration, then report the scan results over the cellular connection to the Site Manager cloud. In the United States, the Gateway will ship with an included CAT-M1 SIM card and include one year of service. The Gateway has a one-year warranty.
