When you purchase a product, we recommend registering it on our website. Registering your product helps prove ownership and allows you to upload your purchase receipt. Please remember, your receipt is the only valid document for warranty eligibility. Registering your product and uploading your receipt ensures we can provide you with the best possible support.
1. Visit https://www.dewalt.com/
- In the top right corner, find three icons. Select the one on the right for the user's menu.
2. Sign In or Create an Account
- If this is your first time here, click on "Create an account". You will receive a verification email; use it to validate your account and access.
- Or, you can log in if you have previously created an account.
3. Register Your Product
- Once you're logged in, DeWalt will take you to your account directly
- Go to the section "My Tool Box" in the left panel of your screen, and select "REGISTER A TOOL"
- Fill out the registration form with your product details. When registering a combo kit, you should register the kit as a combo kit, not the tools individually.
- ...Just to let you know! Although we mention that the receipt is optional, if you are registering your product for warranty, please make sure to upload a copy of your purchase receipt.
Special Instructions for Online Purchases
If your Dewalt product was purchased online, take a screenshot of the purchase record, including the following information: Date of purchase, authorized retailer, paid amount, name of the product or SKU, and delivery date.
These steps will help you register your product and ensure your warranty is valid. If you need help, you can contact DeWalt customer support for assistance at 1-800-4-DEWALT (1-800-433-9258) or by using the form at https://support.dewalt.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

dear sir,
not working grinding 4" machine
My boy Rajbir has been patiently waiting on someone to get back with him about his not working grinding 4” machine. I hope the person responsible for monitoring comments isn’t the same one responsible for updating the online press releases. If so, poor ole Rajbir will never get his not working grinding 4” machine converted to the ever elusive, yet, desirable, working grinding 4” machine.
My boy Tyler reminded yall earlier in the year that Rajbir has been wating on someone to get back with him about his not working grinding 4” machine. I hope the person responsible for monitoring comments isn’t the same one responsible for updating the online press releases. If so, poor ole Rajbir will never get his not working grinding 4” machine converted to the ever elusive, yet, desirable, working grinding 4” machine.
Sadly, after 4 years of waiting, Rajbir didn't make it. He was patiently waiting for instructions on how to proceed, and never received them. Being both a master tradesman and a man of impeccable work ethic, he would not leave his post until his task was completed. He sat there with his 4" grinder in his hands, waiting for word on its repair, observing his unfinished project for nearly 300 days before he finally perished of malnutrition and dehydration. Rajbir, you will be missed.
I just picked up a 4" grinder at an Estate Sale. Perfect condition, except for the engraved intitials “RK”.
But I can't get it to work.
Help?
It's been 4 years and nobody has helped our boy Rajbir!
That doesn't bode well for me and my broken "Brushless Atomic Compact Drill" (20V)" which died for no reason at all..
